Solvent based polyurethane (TPU)
Solvent based polyurethane (TPU)
TPU is a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer rubber that can be plasticized by heating and dissolved in solvents. It is a polymer material formed by the joint reaction and polymerization of diisocyanate molecules such as diphenylmethane diisocyanate or toluene diisocyanate with high molecular weight polyols and low molecular weight polyols (chain extenders). Its characteristics are wear resistance, oil resistance, transparency, good elasticity, and a wide range of applications.
Solvent based TPU can be directly dissolved into a liquid state at room temperature using commonly used solvents on the market. Based on the current market demand, it can be roughly divided into three categories:
(1) Hot melt grade (with multiple hardness 65-98A)
Application Scope : Used for textile fabrics, clothing fabrics, seamless pockets, trademarks, luggage, etc
Usage: Flat hot press machine, electric iron, etc

(2) Adhesive grade (with a wide viscosity range of 600-6000pcs)

(3) Ink grade (widely used)
